In honor of Read Aloud Week, the school participated in daily read alouds with members of the school community. Every morning, a student read a short book over the intercom for students to hear. Parents were “mystery readers” in their children’s classrooms. Older students mentored younger students, while practicing their reading skills using their “just right” leveled books. To culminate the week, students dressed up as a character from their favorite book.
