Two classrooms were invited to participate in a food tour of neighboring restaurants in the Lower East Side. ABC Food Tour, founded by Matt James, seeks to provide opportunities for students to experience local restaurants and learn from small businesses owners and entrepreneurs.
Our students rolled sushi, honed their use of chopsticks, and savored treats from fried chicken to mochi at Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya. On their way back to school, our students tried out a variety of sweets from Doughnut Planet.
