National Hispanic Heritage Month – Dr. Ellen Ochoa

PS 134 Honors Dr. Ellen Ochoa.

Dr. Ellen Ochoa made history multiple times during her career at NASA. In 1991, she became the first Hispanic astronaut and was selected as the first Hispanic director of the Johnson Space Center. In addition to earning various awards, Ochoa stands as a testament to both women and the Latinx community that you really can do anything.
