On November, 1, 2018–District 1 Superintendent Carry Chan appointed Robert Perales the new principal of PS 134.  Mr. Perales was a former teacher at the School for Global Leaders on Stanton Street.  He later helped co-found a high school in Queens and most recently–Mr. Perales was a principal in East Harlem.  Robert is excited to return to the Lower East Side where his enthusiasm and hands-on leadership style will help to infuse energy and rigor at PS 134.
